Great response to "Inspired by Heart" Campaign by Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH and Visa
Sarajevo, 12 September 2017. Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH, in partnership with Visa, successfully completed the “Inspired by Heart” campaign which was aimed at collecting the funds to purchase the equipment for orphanages in 6 towns across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mechanism of the Campaign was very simple - from 15th of June 2017 to 15th of July 2017, for any transaction made by Visa Inspire card, regardless of the amount and with no additional fee for cardholders, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka donated 0,10 BAM.
The funds collected in the amount of 28.000 KM were spent for purchase of necessary equipment for Public Utility "Institute for taking care of mentally disabled children and adolescents" Pazaric; Orphanage "Dom-porodica" Zenica; Orphanage "Dom za djecu bez staranja" Tuzla; "Children's home" Mostar; Public Utility "Home Rade Vranješević" Banja Luka and "Mother's village" Medjugorje.
“We want to thank our clients and our partner – company Visa, because this year's humanitarian action "Inspired by heart" had good results once again. This time we decided to give the money to the youth who do not have their families, or those with more serious health problems, who have the same desires and needs as any other child. The purchased equipment will make their stay in orphanages more pleasant" said representative of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH, pointing out that the Bank had constant growth in payments by Visa Inspire cards, especially for cashless transactions”, said Lejla Dizdarevic, Head of Department of PR and marketing communications in Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH.
Representatives of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH visited all those institutions and got familiar with their work and everyday challenges in their activities with children and the youth.
Vladimir Djordjevic, Visa Regional Manager, SEE said:
“Year to year Visa is happy to be part of project ‘Inspired by Heart’, initiated by our longstanding client and partner Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH. Our goal is to provide fast, simple and secure everyday payments and I’m glad to see that we inspired cardholders In Bosnia and Herzegovina to use their payment cards and support this project. Visa records increase in cashless payments on Visa cards in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it’s not the case only during special campaigns what indicates growing trend in displacing cash in the system. We are looking forward to join more projects and activities aiming to encourage customers to opt for cashless payments”.
The project “Inspired by Hear” was initially launched in 2013 by Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH, and in 2014 the company Visa joined the project. Its goal is to motivate the users to choose the cashless payment, since they contribute to the campaign even by the smallest transaction.
Recognizing the importance of this action, RSG radio and Info Media Group ltd joined this project as media partners.
