Intesa Sanpaolo Banka and the National Theatre Sarajevo formalize cooperation
Intesa Sanpaolo Banka has been supporting cultural and educational events in our country for many years, and organizing its own events, while this year it decided to support the work of the National Theatre in Sarajevo, and thus support its work and activities.
“Sarajevo National Theatre with its hundred-year history in the development of culture in this city and the country deserve every kind of support. It is quite logical that since operating with all principles of social responsibility, we at Intesa Sanpaolo Banka now support the work of one of the oldest cultural institutions in BiH. I must emphasize that we are very pleased that in addition to helping this institution, we will also help all visitors of the Theatre, thanks to new supported technologies which will facilitate ticket reservations and increase the wi-fi connection on the Square in front of the Theatre”, said Marco Trevisan, President of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka at signing of the Cooperation Agreement.
Cooperation will be reflected in the development of the new and modern technologies, which will greatly help in the activities of the Theatre, so in the coming days we will see a completely new website that will be adapted to all devices, with available information about the Theatre, including the repertoire, but it will also include the possibility of online ticket/seat reservations. In addition to the website, the Bank will provide a one-time aid for the Theatre, and a novelty that will be enjoyed by all domestic and foreign visitors to Susan Sontag Square, better known as Theatre Square, because in the coming months, it will have a completely free use of WIFI for all users of mobile devices.
“The Sarajevo National Theater is proud of its cooperation with Intesa Sanpaolo Banka as a strategic partner that has recognized the social and artistic significance of the activities and work of the oldest theater in BiH. This cooperation will provide our visitors with more complete and modern information about the artistic programs of the National Theater Sarajevo, and at the same time will technologically improve services and accessibility to all citizens of Sarajevo who will use the resources of the “Kuća na Obali” (house on the Coast). At the same time, this is the way in which the National Theater Sarajevo wants to get closer to the standards of service at the European level towards our auditory”, said Dino Mustafić, director of the National Theater Sarajevo.
Intesa Sanpaolo Banka will continue to support the work of the Sarajevo National Theatre in the coming period, and the next activity will take place in September this year.
