This December, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka has donated BAM 16,000
Sarajevo 29.12.2022 – In the spirit of the season of giving, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka has decided to mark its successful business year with monetary donations to associations taking care of children with disabilities and women empowerment associations, as well as projects of relevance for expecting mothers and children in need. In fact, this Bank has prepared a special surprise for the upcoming winter break so children can spend this time getting together, having fun and learning along the way.
“Over the course of this year and towards its end, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka has supported large number of socially responsible projects or associations/institutions taking care of the community we operate in. To this end and as a hallmark of our successful year, we have decided to make monetary donations towards three associations and two institutions. The donations made in December entailed financial assistance provided to the Centre for Children and Youth with Special Needs “Los Rosales” from Mostar, Education and Rehabilitation Centre “Duga” from Novi Travnik and Women’s Association “Emina” from Turbe near Travnik” – stated Mr. Marco Trevisan, President of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka, while also adding the following: “In addition to these associations, we have donated funds to the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš” in Sarajevo for the project of procurement of a new CTG machine for its Maternity Ward, as well as funds to the National Theatre for a very interesting project aimed at socialisation and education of children in need.”
With these donations, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka has complemented this year during which its “Inspired by Heart” project implemented in cooperation with Visa has led to a donation of BAM 38,000 to furnish maternity wards of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital and the University Clinical Centre in Tuzla. Of note, in 2023, this project will mark its 10 anniversary during which more than BAM 230,000 was donated. Moreover, during 2022, donations were also made to the socially responsible projects such as “For Ada” project in Čapljina, support to the “Give us a chance” Association and many more.
