Sarajevo 24.1.2023, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka has decided to enter this new business year, thus also being its year of jubilee, with an expanded service as a part of its offer of housing and mortgage loans.  This is to say that all customers of the Bank opting for a real estate purchase or refinancing of an existing loan over the following period will be able to arrange a loan repayment insurance against death, illness or accident.  With this service, Intesa Sanpaolo will become the first bank in the BiH market to have offered its customers a care-free loan repayment.

„Occurrences we have been witnessing over the past two years have significantly impacted the awareness of the general population regarding the health and economic segments.  This was in fact what made us raise the contents of our products and services to an overly new level.  A question that every customer is facing when thinking about a long term debt is uncertain future, meaning concerns regarding possible transfer of the loan repayment to some of the family members due to unforeseen circumstances” – said Nađa Hrustanović, Head of the Affluent & Private Client Department of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka. She also added that:  “The biggest job of our development team was surely choosing an optimal insurance coverage that would provide customers a long term protection at a very acceptable price.  In this way customers will have a chance to arrange an insurance policy that will provide their family members an option to repay certain number of loan instalments and also provide sufficient time to decide whether they wish to continue repaying the loan or would reschedule it or close it down completely.”

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary that the Bank is marking this year, the first five customers that apply for a housing or a mortgage loan with the loan repayment insurance option will receive a complementary gift found useful in any new home.
