Over the past weekend, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka has implemented a special project in the Sarajevo National Theatre titled „Winter break with Intesa Sanpaolo Banka“ intended for children from the SOS Children Villages and the Institution for children without parental care “Bjelave”, as well as for the children of the Bank employees.  Children have enjoyed in a ballet show “Thumbelina” followed by a workshop where they had a chance to talk with ballet dancers – actors in the show, as well as with other employees of the Sarajevo National Theatre.

One more reason for organising and implementing this project was to mark the 15th anniversary of operations of Intesa Sanpaolo Group in BiH.

„2008, exactly on this date, 14.1. Intesa Sanpaolo Banka arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina and began activities, which has been successfully continuing for 15 years. We wanted to launch the celebration of our anniversary with the youngest population. This entire year will be marked with series of festive activities and events.” said Mr. Marco Trevisan, President of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka.

“Also, we want to offer children a special attention during their winter break and to point out that in addition to playing, their vacation can be spent in a different way, i.e. spending time with their peers, learning about culture, but also about the specifics of the fairy tale ‘Thumbnail’, which became a ballet performance”, added Mr. Trevisan.
