Google Pay
Why Google Pay?
For daily payments
Google Pay is a quick and easy way of contactless payment. Carry out daily transactions using only your mobile phone and take advantage of all the benefits of this type of payment.
What is required to use the Google Pay service
- Android device with operating system Lolipop 5.0 or later that supports NFC technology
- Active Visa Inspire, Visa Platinum and/or Mastercard credit card
- Fixed screen lock on mobile device
- Google Pay application set as default payment service (Mobile phone settings > NFC and contactless payments > Contactless payments – select Google Pay)
- It is recommended to allow Notifications for Google Wallet, in order to receive notifications after each transaction through the Google Pay service (Mobile Settings > Applications > Google Wallet > Notifications – Allow)
How do I use Google Pay?
Pay faster and more securely. Payment is made without the need to open the application or enter a PIN, simply by unlocking the mobile device and bringing it to the POS terminal, and the service itself is available at all points of sale that support contactless payment, and in online stores that offer the option of paying with Google Pay, such as and at contactless ATMs.
Before paying at the POS machine, you can change the card you want to pay with, if you have registered several different cards.
Simplicity and safety
Discover why paying with Google Pay is easy and secure:
- The mobile remains in your hands during the payment
- There is no possibility of double debiting your account, even if you touch the device to the POS terminal twice
- No exchange of card information with the merchant, just a token that replaces sensitive card information
- To be able to add a payment card to Google Pay and pay, you must first set the phone's screen lock
- If you turn off the mobile phone screen lock, Google Pay will remove your virtual account number from the device for security reasons
- Google Pay does not store card information on the phone; if you happen to lose your phone or someone steals it, they won't be able to access the data, even if they unlock the device
- If you lose your mobile phone or someone steals it, notify the Bank immediately so that it can be blocked
