Intesa Sanpaolo Banka at the largest fair in BiH
Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in BiH, took part in the 26th International Economy Fair Mostar, held this year from April 8th to 12th under the auspices of Italy as a partner country.
The Mostar Fair is considered the largest economy fair in BiH and is certainly eagerly awaited by business community from this country, as well as those from the region, Europe and the world in general. This fair, in addition to a large number of exhibitors - entrepreneurs, is the most visited fair in BiH when it comes to the media, political officials, and the public in general.

This is a unique opportunity to support local customers in addition to supporting this important event, to meet with key people from this region and to show how important this market is to us as a Bank. I invite all those from BiH, but also the region, to visit this Fair and us as one of the exhibitors", said Michele Castoro, President of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka at the opening of the Fair.
After numerous activities during the first day of the fair, an after-party followed, in the Mostar club “Blinders” where all present exhibitors of the Fair and visitors to Mostar were entertained by the Italian band Musica da Ripostiglio. Intesa Sanpaolo Banka was also the general sponsor of this event.
On the second day of the Mostar Economy Fair, an international conference "Connected Region" was held, which was attended by many businessmen, representatives of the institutions of BiH and the region. A part of this was a panel discussion attended by Michele Castoro, President of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Banka and President of the Association of Italian Companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as by Jelena Čukanović, on behalf of SIMEST Belgrade, and Aida Fojnica from Krupa Kabine d.o.o., Bosanska Krupa.
During the excellent panel on the topic "Connected Region - Economic Dialogue between BiH and Italy", the participants spoke about the current status of economic cooperation between Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which shows an increasing importance year-on-year. They especially touched upon the fact that Italy is the largest importer in BiH, when it comes to trade in goods. They then spoke about the role of the Association of Italian Companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasised its importance, thus specially presenting the activities of the Association to be implement under the new Management Board. Most attention was paid to the topic of investment opportunities of Italian companies in BiH, and the mutual cooperation of these two countries.
